Rainbow bridge started off as a recording studio in Chennai, focussing on Independent music, and eventually also creating music for ads and film.
Moved to Bangalore
We shifted base to Bangalore in 2015, and included music education into our core mission, with the idea of bridging the gap between fresh and established talent.
20th Year Anniversary
2024, marks 20 years as an organisation and 10 years as a music school in Bangalore, as we continue to provide affordable and quality education and services for all ages and backgrounds.

World Class Mentorship
Our mentor, Sanjeev T, has an extensive résumé of music production whilst also being an active live performing and recording artist.He has designed our curriculum and all our teachers are trained and personally hand-picked by him.
Performance & Workshops
Rainbow bridge conducts monthly Student, Artist performances & workshops, featuring popular and fresh talent from around the country. These performances invite public audiences to the school and contribute to the community we are trying to build.
Unparalleled Opportunities
Our Students have been featured in film, album and TV jingle projects, giving them real experiences of work life as a musician. What’s more, students are presented with collaborative opportunities with visiting musicians and mentors.
Certification & Online Training
All our courses are certified and students completing every level will receive course certification. We also provide training for examinations of other boards such as Trinity and ABSRM. We offer all our courses online as live classes through Zoom or Skype.

Our Mentor
Sanjeev Thomas ( Sanjeev T) has been in the music industry for almost 20 years and is best known for his decade long work as Oscar & Grammy winner, A.R. Rahman’s lead guitarist, and as the founder of Rainbow Bridge.
He is an award winning Indie artist and music director for the South Indian film industry. He has scored music for films in Malayalam and Telugu, and has also been a playback singer for many South Indian movies.
He is endorsed by International Instrument and accessory brands such as Gibson Guitars (USA), Faith Guitars (UK), D’Addario (USA), and Laney Amps (UK).

Introduction to Music
We begin the program by giving you an introduction into the syntax of music.
Music is a language that is not just about learning notes and rhythms but learning to express emotions and communicating stories.
Learning a Song
We then split the group into teams/bands, where each band learns a popular song of their choice.
Jamming with Your Team
In the end, you and your band, perform for the rest of your group – expressing what you learnt and playing it together as a team.
